Some of my favorites feature condoms, and most of the time you don't notice it. There's even one that I like where the girl demands a condom and they take it out of the drawer and put it on. It's actually a pretty popular series from Europe.

Though I can see how condoms can ruin the fantasy of certain kinds of porn genres, mainly pickup themes.

Most jobs have some kind of inherent risk. I mean, it's not like pornography is logging or mining.

Your post doesn't make literal sense, josh. Ya missed some verbs or pronouns or something there. I kinda don't get it.

    Or I kinda do.

And, if so, I totally disagree.

Ya know what REALLY leads to wanting more sex?

    Human nature. Biology.

    Get over it.

I particularly need to find sites with tall blond women and huge cleavage.

Well clearly god made us in his image and gave us these desires... so we could not do them because they are bad.

    Religion is overrated.

Instead of spending delightful days with his wife and children, he's on his phone or computer and his wife is yelling or crying.

There's no audio from the couple; it's all a voice-over from Mormon Apostle Jeffrey Holland talking about choosing to be holy.

It's essentially the Mormon view on the world because their perception of topics like this are so warped, because they assume anyone who does something like this is headed for disaster. I imagine they could make a video like this around alcohol. Alcoholism does happen, it is awful, but the vast majority of people drink moderately without incident. But many Mormons don't understand that since they don't drink themselves.

I think it's the same thing here. Yes, there are awful consequences from men with pornography compulsions, but the vast majority are not being kicked out of their house or losing their jobs and ruining their lives because of the occasional online click. Mormons have stigmatized porn so intensely, they just don't get that.

There's plenty of room for important conversations to be had and studies to be done. The Mormon Scorched Earth/Shame and Guilt policy is not it.

Doesn't Utah (supposedly) have the highest usage of porn? I'm not sure how something like that is actually measured but I do remember reading that awhile ago.

As usual, the more taboo a subject becomes, the more people want to experience it. It's just incredibly stupid to make people feel so shameful over something that is so natural.

Well that's just it. Those anecdotal stories always exist. If 1% of the population suffers from this type of compulsion then chances are you'll know someone who does. So what about the other 99%? We tend to eat up cautionary tales and ignore the data that shows those tales aren't very representative of the norm.

We all probably know an alcoholic - should we never take a sip again?

Sorry for being off topic, but didn't Sony want to keep porn away from its new BluRay format?

ecdc, I didn't share that story as a means to try and persuade society to make illegal or stop watching porn. Just a personal tidbit where the vice was known to cause issue.

I know of plenty of other couples who use porn as one of a number of ways to keep marriage spicy and I'm perfectly fine with that.

I don't think we should not drink anymore...but...knowing alcoholics helps me to make sure I'm drinking in moderation.
