THAT is exactly why anyone who has said "confirmed" shouldn't being saying that until AFTER it has already happened. Even IF it is announced by Disney, sometimes it still doesn't happen. (remember when the Atlantis sign appeared in the sub lagoon, or when the sign was posted saying Rocket Rods would be reopening, or the infamous sign on the building after America Sings closed saying that they were "Imagineering something new".

Better to say "This is what is being talked about for the future" or something similar. They still may keep BPB in DCA and possibly update it. A
similar BPB may be showing up in Disney
    Studios at WDW.

Well, these things mentioned are exactly the reason WHY this parade has been so succesful at DCA. EVERYONE I talk to you about BPB agree that it is the engery and enthusiasm of the dancers and performers that make the parade so special. Without these elements, BPB becomes "just another" character parade.

WDW when you copy something from someone elses post put these << >> before and at the end so other LPers know that you copied it from someone else. It does look like it was your post #13 as I also thought you said that as well.

Thanks Lee. Again, like I said, it could all not go through, and they go with a different plan of action.

And if I upset people because I used the word 'confirmed', again, i am sorry. Quite frankly I wrote the comment quickly and was just trying to clear up the fact that Parade of Dreams is definitely NOT moving, yet Block Party Bash was the parade in consideration.
So, not 'confirmed', but more than a handful of different sources are all saying the same thing, that so far it looks like a 'yes'.

Again, just trying to help. =)

I do hope they actually go through with putting on a new parade.

What are you guys interested in seeing for a new MK parade?

And what I'd really like to see would be parades that are only budgeted for a maximum of 2-3 years. It's amazing how cheap Disney has gotten with putting on new parades in the states. And the current MK offering is IMHO the worst regular parade that park has ever had.

The problem is that parades alone aren't going to attract guests any more.

Also not all the US parades were cheap for one reason or another. Stars and Motors Cars became the financial disaster it is because of the cost of the vehicles (hence the desire to continue using the parade in another park). Disneyland's Parade of Dreams is also a very costly parade.

Money isn't anything either. Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade is one of the best daytime parades I've seen at WDW for years and that wasn't costly. The Christmas makeover is also great fun.

Disney used to understand that keeping its parks fresh involved constantly updating its offerings. Having 'special' parades play for many, many years is doing just the opposite.

Unfortunately, it's the spreadsheeters (is that a new one?) way of running the parks now.

<<However you guys cant seem to understand that when for example I say an Incredibles E-ticket is coming to Tomorrowland..that doesnt mean tomorrow morning it will be open...even after Upper management greenlights a project it takes awhile to move along and there probably won't be an announcement for the Incredibles ride until end of 2006/early 2007.>>

Disney has greenlit many projects that have never come to pass.

<<Im doing you a favor by telling you what Disney's current plans are but instead I get attacked for spreading "rumors".>>

Until Disney breaks ground on something, nothing is confirmed in my book.
