I thought the OP was an interesting question and I was excited to maybe hear any insight someone might have had to an answer. But instead, all of these posts are treated like a chat room instead of an informational tool.

There's a section here just for discussing pins and another for discussing meets and all sorts of opportunities in play pen and community to create fun topics for discussing whatever.

That's why there are sections that you can click on to read the topic that interests you. Knowing that a person loves their pins is fine, but not on topic. This happens often and it's the main reason why some posters have left LP. Back on track - do we know if the newsletter was just noting that Disneyland decided not to bring the CBJ back to the park? Meaning, maybe they weren't talking about it's final departure?
