Everyone who I have shown them too have said how 'very me' they are. I am going to say just one more time, go with the bustle, you get exactly the same effect as shortening it for moving around, but you get to have the beautiful train in the pictures (I had someone lay it out for me and rebustle it each time, so I never had to move around with it down apart from up the aisle). If you really want to shorten it then I guess you have the final decision though, after all as you say, it is your wedding!!!

They are about as close as I am going to get to dressy shoes =) The even have little shiny spots =)

So far the forecast is ok, but I never know if I should believe that. We are trying to hunt the Disney Wedding music CD down on iTunes now, apparently no store in this city will acknowledge its existence. Thank you so much for all your happy thoughts and well wishes. I will be sure to check in later and let you know how everything went =)

Originally Posted By mickeymeg It is official, I am a married person. Now I have to get used to writing my name differently =) The day went more perfectly than I could have imagined =) The day before we were worried that the dark clouds and rain would stick around, but it surprised us and cleared and was a gorgeous sun shiny day. A friend, with fabulous artistic skills, helped put the finishing decorating touches on the garden. She helped us make a beautiful arch, make the steps from the balcony to the yard pretty, make the tables look fantastic and found all sorts of flowers from local farm type growers and creative ways to display them. Now I just need to think of the perfect way to thank her. The marriage commissioner was great. I was nervous as I didn't get a chance to meet him before the ceremony. but he was very laid back and made us feel very comfortable. He kept making comments under his breath to make us laugh. It was great, I couldn't have asked for someone better. Then after the ceremony, everyone socialized and ate and ate. It was very casual which is exactly what we were going for and I think everyone had fun. We attempted to have a first dance to Kiss the Girl from the Little Mermaid, too bad neither one of us can dance to save our lives. But we made it silly and had fun with it. Who knew that song was soooo long =) Our friend who is a super photographer took over 800 photos throughout the day. I will likely post a few as I get them. He is still busy editing them down to just the good ones =) for now, have a look at his website where he has posted one photo as a teaser of what is to come =) http://gallery.happydesigns.co m/ I am sure there are many more details I could tell you, but I can't think of them right at the moment. Feel free to ask questions to prompt me to fill in the blanks =) Thanks again for all the happy thoughts, well wishes and ideas that you all put in while I was planning everything

There was plenty, and plenty of left overs =) We also ended up getting a chocolate fountain to go with a fruit plate, that was fun until the wind picked up a little And were the pretty shoes as comfortable as you expected?? They certainly were, lots of people liked my shoes and said they were perfect for me =) Are you going on honeymoon? Not right away. We spent that night at a fancy hotel in our city. They made it very nice with chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champaign waiting in our room. We also got a wedding gift from our fabulous friends (the photographer and the decorator I mentioned before) of a trip to a gorgeous bed and breakfast on a kiwi farm so we will likely do that trip soon too =) I really need to find a way to thank these two =) When will the rest of the pictures be ready? Soon I hope ! I can't wait to see the rest of them. Judging on the first one they're gonna be great They will be ... we even took some on a playground =)
