If there was enough salt to make a person sick, I think you'd be able to SEE the tablespoons of salt and the burger would be very gritty. That much salt wouldn't completely dissolve. The cook said she tapped the burgers off. I just don't think there could have been that much salt on the burger. And if the cop was THAT sensitive to salt then he shouldn't have been eating there at all.

So when he returned to the McDonalds he was there on official business. He questioned the witnesses, found the cook to be in his opinion inconsistant and placed her under arrest. As for the rest, the remains of the burger are ( according the the stories) being tested. I am willing to give the cook the benefit of the doubt that perhaps it was an accident and all that he consumed was just a lot of salt and pepper... but I honestly don't know and if I was the police officer I wouldn't stake my health on it. So again the testing is necessary.

If she did, and the manager forced her to still use the meat, then it should be the manager who is in this trouble, not her. Managers at resaurants are notorious for using damaged or older foods if they can get away with it.
