I worked in downtown Seattle for years and usually if a cop catches someone jaywalking (and yes I have been one those caught doing it) they just talk to you for a minute and then tell you not to do it anymore. My heart goes out to the Officer." Agreed. Whenever I arrested female shoplifters who decided to fight, they often dirtier fighters than the males. After a while, I had no reservations about treating them like a guy. If they wanted to take a swing at me, big as I was, down they went, in a hurry. I wasn't going to wait and find out if they were going to kick or punch me below th ebelt, or try and scratch my eyes out, especially since I only have one good eye anyway.
