Blacks, Hispanics, Filipinos, Vietnamese, Thais, Nigerian, Russian, just about everything but middle class Caucasians. They're here too, but the number is so small as to not be counted. The case I just finished were two Mexicans who spoke no English with one living in Mexico. I'm aware of poverty all over the world.

To draw an analogy, I don't need to go sit in an LDS chapel on Sunday to know that most Mormons are good people who mean well but their views on gay rights are wrong-headed and stupid.

When the city of Vallejo in the Bay Area went bankrupt it was revealed that the average cop was paid about $150,000 a year. In my neck of the woods, in a podunky flyover town, Sergeants are paid $125K plus overtime.
