Countdown to your trip!

I know I will be going to WDW in October, but I'm hoping to sneak in a DLR break in February. Not too sure about February anymore because we might be getting a new puppy at the first of the year.

I am happy for you. We still have no real count in the foreseeable future.

 

Whee! 13 days!! There are 8 of us going this trip. We will make the most of it since we have now idea when we can all go again.

Woohoo!! I booked a trip down to Disneyland for Feb 28th!! Super excited to get back "home".

Woohoo!! We just got back, and we had a wonderful time. Got a little spoiled staying at GCA though...having that smaller entrance made a huge difference since everybody has to go through the metal detectors now.

 

Glad you enjoyed your trip. We are taking the RV so it will be a bit of a walk. I am getting a Premium Pass (I know they changed the name but it will always be a PAP to me) so we can drive in if we choose. Having a house in the parking lot is pretty cool. And you always get to park in Pinocchio.

I'm so excited for you guys! What are you looking forward to most at DLR this trip? I highly recommend watching the MSEP. I remembered my parents taking me to that when I was little and I have to admit that I got a little misty when the music started up because it was just like I was a kid all over again.

 

Main Street Electrical Parade is definitely on the radar. Though we got pretty spoiled seeing it at DCA where we could get a place to sit 10 minutes before showtime. Having to wait will be a drag. But this trip is about the grandkids and we will be enjoying it vicariously through their eyes.
We would never choose spring break time ourselves. So we will change our Disneyland mindset and make it about the kids.

We didn't have to really wait to find a good spot for the parade. We were right in front of the train station behind a bench so there weren't people standing in front of us. I think we were only there maybe 5 minutes early because we rushed over from DCA after coming off of Soarin'. I know they have dining packages for the preferred seating which was just across the street from where we were standing.

 

Great minds think alike, right. That is where we always watch parades and usually get there just a few minutes before stepoff time. It will be great to see it on Main Street again.
