Countdown to your trip!

Just planned a sudden, unexpected, one-day trip to the parks in 6 days!!! I haven't been in over 5 years! I can't believe I will be there in less than a week.

 

Ok you guys, I expect a full report on my desk when you return.

 

WOW! Being out in the woods for 11 days sure throws off one's calendar. We came home thinking we had a week when in reality; we have 4 DAYS!!

 

How long are you going to be down there this time? We will be there the 16th through 20th.

 

We will be there the 10th-17th.
My friend's birthday is the 16th and we will be spending it with her.
I would love to meet up on the 17th.

WOOHOOO!!! We leave tomorrow morning! With any luck we will be able to meet up with @iamsally for a Matterhorn Macaroon at the Jolly Holiday!

Sadly, our schedules did not work out.

 

I was bummed that we didn't cross paths this time, but there's always hope that we will be able to meet up at some other time.

 

Looks like we have a countdown. (If hubby gets the ressies in today.)
This trip has been planned ever since we got AP's but we ended up booking a trip to Seattle during the time frame we had planned. After that we thought we would go after we get back in March. But a look at the calendar made us realize we could be getting into Spring Break times. Soooooooo.........we are going Jan24-Mar7. Short hours, rides closed but are looking forward to it after the hot/crowded trips we have endured this year.
So, if all goes well.

We may be going during the "Yep, It's Packed!" period. The end of March.... My son's highschool band is marching in parade at DL. So, it will be exciting to see him and spend a little time in the parks. I'll just have to take an extra dose of patience and think of a happy little thought.

 

We went last year at the beginning of April and weekdays were not too bad. The weekends were awful. Three of my kids marched in Disneyland but we never got to witness any of them.

I could not believe that in January! the RV park was booked solid through the 27th. So, we will not get the full two weeks we had hoped for. Only 10 days.

I think we're looking at a Friday and Saturday. So, yeah...It'll be busy.

Bummer you can't stay the full amount of time. But, 10 days is a solid visit. We'll only be there for 2.

 

The real bummer is that the RV parks gives a weekly rate discount plus a coupon for another free night with each week. So, this will cost almost as much as 2 weeks.
