I do love Winnie the Pooh (my baby puppy reminds me of Eeyore) but CBJ has a softspot in my heart, Melvin is my FAVORITE!

I'm not sure what's there now but I'll never forget being at EPCOT on opening day and seeing that show. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...=related

Originally Posted By friarthe I actually think both Food Rocks and Kitchen Kabaret were sub-par, but loveable for their kitsch. Their unwashed, awful kitsch. The first round of Epcot attractions was the last gasp of an earlier form of Imagineering, like watching the Harryhausen effects in "Clash of the Titans." Some of it worked (HORIZONS!) and some of it was warmed-over old techniques used for brave new ideas (Motion, Kitchen Kabaret). After the 3 Country Bear shows (which I love each and every one) and America Sings, the only AA show that works 100% for me is American Adventure. Tiki Room is awesome for its emersive setting and infectious tiki fun, and it looks fabulous, but let's face it--like CoP, the script is painful. ("Oh, I see, Schmidt has no hair." Was that every funny?)

I still feel the way I feel though. I just sure do miss the Country Bear Jamboree
