But how could he know?>> Well samething about Midway Mania that hasn't even been announced to Disney yet & he gave us all the info. plus everyone here reads everything he posts so stop hating already theres enough hatred in this world. <<ugh...Hey, anyone want to buy a hot dog off the mark twain?>> Didn't get that & didn't care. Nice tryin' bud!

I'm not an al basher, just observing that your comment would be seen as provocative to some, similar to "the country bears are coming back!". You inadvertently stumbled into some hot buttons without realizing it. Welcome to the boards.

It's a very poorly kept secret that Disney Imagineering fired everyone and now gets their ideas solely from Al's columns. 3. The Country Bears aren't pirates. People only like attractions that involve pirates. 4. The People Mover doesn't enter DCA, and everyone knows that Disney's top management's number one priority for the Disneyland resort is bringing back the People Mover. Iger can't enjoy his twelve zillion dollar Dead Man's Chest bonus because he's always worrying about when to bring back the People Mover. 5. The Country Bears are country. Disney is contractually obliged to add Rockin' to any new attractions. And Rockin' Country Bears will confuse people. and finally 6. The Country Bears are Californian. Designed in California for a proposed California ski resort. Disney policy requires that any new additions to Disney's California Adventure can't have anything to do with California.

It's the first step towards bringing the park out of its initial limited provinciality.

And how many rumormongers are out there, anyway? How can he be the least accurate if there isn't really anyone else reporting rumors? Oh, maybe Jim Hill, I guess. But Lutz is less accurate than Jim Hill? Anyone else? I can't think of anyone else, really. Marcie? Marcie's not really a rumormonger. She just seems to confirm or deny stuff that Lutz says, and more often than not lately, she seems to be confirming much of what he reports, even if his "details" seem to be off, according to her. I read Lutz' stuff voraciously. For the same reason that some folks buy and read the Enquirer, People, etc. While I really don't give a darn what the latest gossip is about Britney, Lindsay, Paris, etc., I do have an intense interest over what happens at Disneyland. So even though I have to take what Lutz says with a grain of salt, I do eagerly look forward to every new column. It's my version of crack, I guess. And if even only 25% of what Lutz reports is accurate (and I think that percentage is probably conservatively low), then at least that's 25% more bankable info than I had before I logged onto his website.
