I was not aware that Tony worked on this attraction. Bruce Gordon was the producer. All sources 'til now agree that the three heads are from the Mile Long Bar.

I THINK he worked on it as to what capacity IDK. Getting back to the heads. once the Playhouse closed they were breifly put under the graveyard scene of the Haunted Mansion while work on Pooh was being completed. they were then re-installed.

    Blue sky stuff.

This is what Tony primarily does for WDI now. Blue sky design.

Well, I used to be one of those individuals, who believed the heads were too small to come from the theatres, but instead were the static heads that once graced the Mile Long Bar.

    Now, I'm not so sure.

Take a look at these two photos from MP, the first one taken inside Pooh, and the second one taken during the final performance of CB Vacation Hoedown, on Sept 9, 2001:

In terms of relative size, in comparing one set of the heads to the other set, these could very well be the actual heads from Theatre II, as Tony described to Disneydanny. And Tony did work with Bruce Gordon and John Stone on the project, in a blue sky/design capacity.

I think Mr. Baxter is correct, and these are AA heads from the attraction.

But ya gotta love the story about storing the heads under the graveyard in HM! Too bad they couldn't have made "special guest appearances" in the show scenes. Imagine Melvin stuck in a corner of the attic, neurotically mumbling to himself, about the glory days of hanging over the fireplace mantle in his Master's drawing room. LOL!

I had an opportunity to work with some of the people whose main job/assignment was the Country Bears and while it was true that the show had its fans, there were many many many days when there would only be 4 people in the theatre. The company that created the characters had gone out of business and Disney had to make its own replacement parts - very expensive and in an overall look - that part of the park died when the weather got too cold to ride Splash Mountain. Now, with the Pooh ride, it is always full of families and children. The Pooh ride might not be as fun or exciting as the show, the kids love it and the numbers do the talking.

Yes, they are. I'm not a Pooh fanatic, so I don't know the proper name for the room, but my wife calls it the LSD room because there's a section of the ride that could roughly pass for an acid trip. If you look up behind you before you leave this room for the next one, they are high on the wall behind you. If you sit in the last row of the car you won't be able to see them. The best vantage point is the first row.
