i can't believe with the popularity of crocs that they could be in financial trouble! poor management!!!

As far as Uggs...I wasn't familiar with these until my damsel mentioned them. She said she didn't quite get why women wore them in the warm climate of SoCal. Furry boots in 80+ degree weather...yeahh. LOL!

More power to those who like Crocs, though.

Knight I don't get the Uggs in hot weather either. My feet would be a sauna.

Uggs are amazing, I have a pair of "Ultras" that I've worn probably 9 months out of the year, 5 days a week, for about 12 years. They still look "OK" and aren't falling apart. I think they're quite an amazing value. I hope to get a new pair next winter. I love the "gunmetal" slightly metallic ones but am unsure how the "Classic" wears. The sole is much thinner.

Crocs - I don't have any, but if they're as comfortable as you say, go for 'em. I think you should put me down as a "no" tho.

Maybe I should stock up!

RT, they'll be perfect for December! The good thing about Uggs is they keep your feet warm but not hot, even when it's not that cold outside! Must be the magic of sheepskin!

They are soooo comfortable. Saw some turquoise-colored ones at Nordstrom's tonight. They were the short style and if they had them in the tall style I'd have been in big trouble! LOL

But you just can't get ANY croc. You have to get the "genuine" thing. I was once in a Target .. bought an imitation pair. Thought all were the same. But the foot/arch support was awful. They were more "plastic" than rubber. Makes a big difference.

Went back to Rainforest in DtD .. and got a replacement pair after learning my lesson from getting cheapies at Targét. ;)

I really hope the company isn't in enough trouble to go out of business, I might have to stock up as well!! You know, on top of the beach, athens and patra I already own :)

I can't remember who said they wanted to try the sandals type, but I highly recommend it, they're great :)

I have never worn uggs. My feet used to get really cold, now not so much. My 85 year old mom LOVES hers in the winter.

I like the Off Road model better than the original Beach or Cayman styles; the Off Road has a protective toe cap, and a more substantial sole that doesn't wear out so quickly.

Oh, and they had a special on their sling backpack the other day. Was 50% off when buying a pair of shoes. So I added that to my order at the last moment.

Check out shoebuy.com too. They offer free shipping both ways if they don't fit. The prices are comparable to the normal price of the shoes. I just ordered this time directly because they were outlet items I was buying. Normal price for my All Terrains were 59.95, I got at the outlet for only $9.95! Loved Shoebuy's free shipping though when ordering the new Malindi's. Worry-free buying if they didn't fit!
