Not common, but not unheard of either. <<And Magic? Why lower yourself?>> Boredom mixed with anger when the first thread opened was a typically absurd 17 page deal on Disney being villified (they weren't) in a story on what they pay CMs (wood chips and pixie dust!). Most of the morons were defending da man and using the old 'you can leave and find a better job' apparently having slept through the last three years of depression-like conditions. That 'tude just rankles me so much because it is so ignorant ... kinda like extending unemployment is a bad thing (because all those folks sitting at home on their tushies, who used to make $1500 a week plus full benefits would rather stay on the sofa for $275 a week in government 'welfare'. Oh, and I also saw Eddie Sotto whoring his latest restaurant venture and wanted to pop into that thread ... I do hope he doesn't hear about this and think I am too serious and decides to not give me a MAGICal discount when I visit Rivera at Emmy-time! But I wouldn't have even lurked there if there was much going on here, but things have slowed down again ... you kids need to start endless debates on when the Fantastic Four will have a meet-greet-and-grind at EPCOT! ~Making Spirited Magic For Decades!~

They (obviously not all ... there are some great posters on that site including that dude Leemyegoandneedforfanboilovekeepsmethere) have some major issues with simple reality. So, it doesn't make me laugh as much as think yet again 'this is why WDW can be WalMarted ... worse, this is why the USA can be WalMarted too' ... no common sense, no critical thinking ability, no desire to try. ~Patented Spirited Cynacism Since 1974~

Fanbois really like Tony Stark and his hard, metal...suit. Synergy sux. Happy?

Not all. <<Glad I kicked the habit (helps that all the cool people [the ones keeping it alive] moved on also, save for Martin)>> If Martin moved over here ... and Lee stayed here ... and a few others (there are about 4-5 I can think of, but don't want to leave someone out), it would certainly be great for the LP Community. I have never advocated people moving over on Steve's site because that just wouldn't be cool ... but I'd rather be surrounded by sane folks and some great people/friends. ~How Many Mug Threads Are Too Much?~
