And that not being good stewarts of the environment (creation) is a sin. That not promoting social justice is a sin. So I think that Catholics have to pick the lesser of two evils. They can vote for evil party #1, who gives lip service to some causes, but does nothing about them... Or vote for evil party #2, who at least does something about some evil issues.
