    Nope.

    Same here!

count me in also -- putting the booking 180 day out for meals and my EXCEL spreadsheet for all items, I really do go there to relax. The last 2 trips I have gone sans laptop ( work can still get me on cell phone - but when people have to actually talk to you vvia just sending an email, it cuts down on the number of times you are interrupted ) -

my DW says it is the only place on earth I let my guard down and relax -- and I believe she is right

vbdad said with class what I said with no class. I should know better than to post when I'm feeling that cranky. I apologize to ChiMike. I also appreciate that he did not respond. It was not worthy of a response and by not responding ChiMike demonstrated class that I did not.

    Sorry.

why they have voicemail - return only what you want - still have for emergencies, but I get what you're saying

I guess I just felt bad for Chi Mike and he has been around here long, and while we have had some 'sprited' discussions, as well as agreed on other items, I just sensed a different level of criticism on some of his comments the last few times also. I guess since I respect his opinions that made me more concerned that I thought maybe he just needed a break. Not that any/all of his points didn't have merit, just that they seemed to contain more emotion than usual - therefore I am sure rankled more than a few here.

ChiMike, I hope whenever the next trip is - it somehow improves, as I know how cranky I would be if I felt that badly about WDW. But certain things there- yes they tick me off too.

I can guarantee you that if my Honeymoon gets rankled due to some Disney mistakes I will be the next person to make a SUCKS topic. I have pretty high expectations, but I hope to be able to let the small things roll off my back like I usually do.

It's the 1st time I'll be at a Deluxe Disney resort though (not counting the BW DVC trips) so I'm pretty sure I'll have a blast.

No, we'll have a great time. We got reservations for all the restaurants we wanted (sorry Dan, don't mean to rub it in) so we are already off to a great start.

Hey, that reminds me, we will be at the California Grill during the fireworks and I could use some advice. Can you see the fireworks from pretty much anywhere in the restaurant or do you need a particular seat? It's my first time at the Grill so I'm not sure. I here it is a great place though.

For 3 years running - window seats...( Note: the manager changed about 1 1/2 years ago but the new one still was great) --

remember - never any guarantees on stuff like that, but to me, that is the stuff a million dreams are made of, not a pin or lanyard.

One question. Tamarind Filet? I didn't see that on the allears menu. What is it exactly?

It is a version of filet ( some call terryaki - but it is not) - that is marinated in this tamarind marinade and is fork cut wonderful. traveling a lot in my career I have had the chances to eat many many places here and abroad, and for whatever reason, this is my favorite entre' anywhere ( and normally I prefer seafood to beef ) -

Sometimes it is not on the daily menu, but if you ask for it they always have it upon request !

I am sure you will hear more on this from Spirit and Danny.

Another vote for the beef, the most incredible cut of meat I've ever experienced. I've had it maybe 10 times over the years, and every time it's sheer perfection.

Also, if you like sushi, the CG now has one of the top sushi chefs in the world. They have an appetizer that's really incredible, a perfect starter for the beef filet.

My last meal at the CG lasted about 2 1/2 hours, which normally would seem like a long time. But I had the perfect waiter, who kept the food coming and the conversation going, and let me take time to sip my wine and look out the huge windows at all the people having fun in the MK and on the Seven Seas Lagoon. A most memorable meal!
