    Exactly.

They should just stop doing stuff.

    ...Seriously?

World Showcase, yes, but FW still boasts a nice line up.

Slight (or huge) misrepresentation of what I said, but that's par for the course, isn't it, Doug?

Way too late now, but it is nice to see WDI and other jump on the EPCOT Center bandwagon. A far cry from 15 years ago when everyone got all insecure and bent out of shape because the park had become comedic fodder for things like the Simpsons. At that time they were more concerned about being Hip & Edgy for the new millennium. See how that worked out.

I said that P&R have expanded too much over the past 15 years in reference to the number of undercooked parks that Disney has opened and apparently can't maintain to previous Disney standards. (And Shanghai is waiting in the wings while MGM, DAK and to a lesser extent Epcot wither away.)

You said something sarcastic to the effect that Disney should just stop building.

Which was obviously not my point.

They should build attractions at the parks, but why continue to develop new parks and destinations when they can't maintain what they currently have?

But two of the bigger projects (DCA and the FLE) are in existing destinations. Surely you're not suggesting that the Company stop expanding their offerings?

I do agree that they need to always maintain and enhance their existing properties. And they have certainly been remiss at this in Florida. But it was a rather blunt statement that brought on my equally blunt response.

    Surely not.

Merely suggesting that they cease expanding the number of resort destinations and the number of parks they develop/build/manage if the best they can do is what is happening in WDW right now.
