It's not like the old days where you were limited to pizza and burgers.

I actually noticed this about a year after the park opened. The leaves used to be a nice deep green, and fit in with the surrounding landscape. A year later you could easily pick out the artificial tree, as that color of leaf just doesn't exist in nature.

All of the monorail hotels (actually @ Poly it's Capt. Hooks), Y&BC & AKL. I have a distinct feeling that if you really needed something any of the resorts would try to accommodate if at all possible. I'm sure there will be those that will prove me wrong but that is my belief.

It always amuses me that for some it's an either or on the issue of WDW vs DL. They are different in so many delightful ways & geared to different demographics...love them both for what they offer.

If DAK is need of tlc it certainly should get it. This is a lovely & relaxing park for us want it to stay that way. We all know that all these fan sites are read by company folks hope your original intent for this thread isn't overlooked. It's nice to care enough to want improvement thanks for posting this!

Looking at the structure of the netting they put up I expect the falling tree pieces are fairly heavy.

I sincerely hope they put every effort into fixing the tree and refurbishing the leaves.

From the shows I have seen on the making of it, it was designed from an oil derrick and modified into a tree, the leaves were specifically designed to withstand the Florida sun and weather to minimize fading but apparently that didn’t work as well as planned / hoped for.

I can't imagine it would be that expensive to keep the quick service dining open at night working on limited basis (no cooked food, no usage of the tables and chairs etc) Just be able to pickup some drinks and pre-made food items like pastries or fruit cups.

Besides this fact, I found pretty much all other dining experiences at WDW to be quite good. We ate at quite a few "nicer" restaurants. We LOVED Le Cellier. Had a great time at the Brown Derby and Coral Reef. And we enjoyed the food at Yak and Yeti (though the service and the general cleanliness left me frustrated).
