I guess I would be furious about the Yeti if I had not already lost a lot of faith in WDI as an organization prior to 2006. By 2008, it really was not that shocking, just more confirmation of what I already was convinced of..

They just don't want to write a check to fix him.

Unfortunately more and more people don't appreciate the story behind it anymore. Otherwise I can't explain why so many on a European board defend TSPL. That's definately not what I expect from Disney. I think some would even be happy, if WDI takes a bare steel coaster and puts a Disney character on top. By the way why is it called "Disco Yeti"?

Even though the Yeti might not be important for some of us: normal guests can notice and do notice.

Not having enough capacity, is Disney's fault. Go as far back as Jim Hill's pre-opening article and you will see that B mode was spoken about. That B mode was there for the short-term to keep the attraction running. Not for 4 years!!! Disney completely went the Six Flags route and simply said, 'eh, its good enough' On the other hand, even if they fix it with a performance modification, to me it was still really poor design location. A horrible placement relative to the ride timing and track position.

The one that was cut would have been a longer scene. (Perhaps replaced by the projection scene?)
