And no, I don't think that picture looks to bad. But I also don't mind Barnstormer or Gadget's. Mullholland bothered me a bit....ok a lot.

Turned around? I hope you didn't wrench your back!

I wasn't quite in the same spot, but I did get a pretty amazing photo of "fantastic theming" myself:

(And I truly meant it when I said to be careful what you start up...)

But, you know, if you dig Everest and its lush landscaping and one and a half show scenes, that's ok.

No, we are discussing theming, and comparative lack of same, in attractions. And do you really mean to say that one of three of WWoHP's attractions is a poorly themed C-ticket kiddie coaster?

    >>Grasping at straws.<<
    Mote and beam, actually.

    Look it up.

Yes, I know. I was trying to keep this light. Probably not possible in the highly charged atmosphere here...

Where has anyone said differently? And for the record, i don't have a problem with Hippogryff. The area it's in is charming. Just like I never had a problem with Barnstormer, and always found it to be a cute little ride.

However, I do have a problem with Everest's barebones theming considering the hype surrounding the attraction and how "revolutionary" it's supposed to be.

I didn't ride it, but that's the impression I got from walking past it. Not a big deal to me when you've got *one of the best* attractions in Orlando across the street from it.

But theming can be "shown up" for just about anything, if one is determined enough.

True, but comparing Expedition Everest and Flight of the Hippogryff is a pretty huge stretch, and really isn't a valid argument at all.
