    I like Maks - for various reasons - and think he's a good dancer, but he seems to have friction with whoever is his assigned partner every season. But I can also see that he's self-inflated, impatient, and could be difficult to work with.

    Derek and Mark don't have quite the bo-hunk stud appeal of Maks, but they're technically better dancers and more agreeable personalities. So I can understand if they're about sick of him by now.

    Me thinks the judges are sticking their thumbs on the scale more than usual - deciding winners and losers. Len essentially told Nancy Grace that it's time for her to pack and go home. He's probably right, but it came off unduly harsh.

    I'm mildly hoping for Ricki Lake, but it seems the judges have already decided to go with Martinez and the sympathy vote.

I realize the styles are different, but the switch is not nearly as hard as learning from the start. I enjoy watching those that have NO background in dance make progress and I think that's what the premise of the show should be.
