Of all the things that could be eliminated they are not one of them. When someone comes up with a good e-mail address to send a protest too, please post it.

The laws are there, but they can be circumvented. All they have to do is fire some yound people at the same time. No bias. Of course the young ones will be in custodial and not be performers.

With Disney, it would seem that they'd wait for the 50th to be over, and then lay off the Dapper Dans.

Aren't they also the band on the raft before the Fantasmic! shows?

I mean since the person who bought it owns it now, you would at least have to get permission to use the bike wouldn't you? Or would you have to go buy or find some other means of transportation? Or am i an idiot?... no need to answer that last question, thank you.

I'll tell you one thing i'll miss is sipping on my diet coke and listening to the dapper dans. Sitting there in new orleans square listening to them and watching the Mark Twain float down stream never ceases to pacify me, for some reason. So tranquil and timeless feeling. It truely is a good band to sit to.

I think you might be confusing them with something else. They are a barbershop quartet. Four people singing with no instrumental accompaniment, the old songs of the early 1900's and the like.

Is Matt Ouimett really the person to complain to? I honestly want to know because I will write a letter/send an email/telegram/pigeon carrier/whatever to let them know that this is NOT what this consumer wants.

Disney MADE the decision that the Dapper Dans had to leave, and that is a MAJOR shame... :(

Last summer I spent a lot of time listening to them and now I'm extra glad I did. Main Street is nostalgia, and so are the Dapper Dans. I remember watching them give a gentleman in the audience the thrill of his life getting to sing with them. He had mentioned he was in a barber shop quartet and they invited him up to perform a song.

Those talented, genuinely nice enterainers will be missed. What a shame. :(
