Dasani is made by Coke, a long-time Disney operating partner. I don't know about Aqua Fina. Maybe their package wrapping is just as annoying too.

My issue is with Dasani. There MUST be a way of avoiding these pieces of plastic trash from winding up on the ground and blowing about.

They should start to use the bottle that has the screw lid like Coke etc. Not near as thrilling but less waste....

I saw them somewhere today and thought itd be a decent idea-

NO! My little kids, the ones under the age 3, can easily drink from the sports lid, but they will spill the regular open bottle every time!

It's not the packaging on Dasani water that is wrong. It's the WDW guests who make NO effort in discarding their trash properly in trash cans around the parks.

I know they lack CM's, etc., but I think society has changed as a whole. Years ago people didn't throw trash around, they (usually) respected the fact that someone had to pick it up after them. Sadly, a lost respect, I think...

True in some cases (Yahoos!) But sometimes the wispy plastic winds up on the ground when well-intentioned people go to put it in the trashcan and it doesn't quite make it. The plastic has a way of blowing because it's not heavy enough to simply fall straight down when dropped at the trash can. Once it's on the ground and blowing away, they don't always make an effort to retrieve it.

Smokers do the same thing. When they open a pack of smokes the small piece of cellophane plastic hits the ground more often than a trashcan. Watch them.
