    On second thought I hope she does get the nomination. There is no way in hell she'd win against Obama in 2012.

    But, "Read my lips. No new taxes" was followed by an economic fallout and suddenly the chubby, horny guy looked pretty good.

    If that tells you anything it really means that it IS all about the economy and should things get really ugly between now and '12 the anything is possible.

    I hope it ain't Palin personally.

    I can see the campaign slogan now. "What CHANGED?" If Obama can't point at much 3 years from now then it is going to be a thorn. Not an obstacle he can't hurdle with Palin as his competition, in my opinion, but an obstacle none the less.

    Me too. I know a lot of liberals hope it's Palin because they think Obama will trounce her, and he probably will.

    But unlike Palin, I am for Country First, and I don't have enough faith in this special needs country to not elect her. I can't think of a bigger disaster than her as President of the United States.

    As I said earlier, I think she's got a 50/50 shot at being the nominee - Huckabee is the other likely choice. Either way, Obama should cakewalk into his second term.
