Still, I found the place to be on the same level as any standard American theme park with none of the charm or compelling detail of a Disney property. It only seemed worse with the magnificent DLP right next door. Maybe the DSP has improved since my visit, but the place left a bad taste in my mouth when I was there last. "Just seeing the multiplane camera alone makes me giddy" Did you know that one of Disney's multiplane cameras is right here in San Francisco at the Disney Family Museum? The thing is huge!

DCA FTW

Even with two 3D attractions already existing in other Florida parks? Even though the only way to reach the park would probably be by taking a car, shuttle, or staying at the local hotel, rather than just having to walk a hundred yards, like you do to get to DCA from DL?

SSL would probably have succeed instead of just insulting us. DHS to me is the place were Disney dumps old park shows. The only original one is Indy and that was because Disney was too cheap to put in IJA. Their studio tour is and was nothing special compared to USH version. Only one in tram experience? USH has lots. Except for the GMR, I've ridden all of its attractions elsewhere. DHS is probably my least favorite park. Its just a little lower than DAK.

If you enjoy spinning around on a coaster inside an empty Home Depot warehouse then Rockin' Roller Coaster is just the thing for you.

My two biggest complains with it are park layout and lack of shade. I hate the way Hollywood Blvd dead-ends. I hate the one mile hike to enter/exit "Lights/Motor/Action". Great Movie Ride needs a serious update. There is a lot to like about it, though: TOT, RRC, TSM, Indy show, LMA show, American Idol show, Fantasmic, etc. I consider it a 3/4 day park.

I don't understand the "lack of shade" comment either. I can't think of an attraction in the park that isn't shaded (in addition to their lines). I miss the "working studio" vibe though...and the interactions with celebrities. I vividly remember seeing Pierce Brosnan at the Conversations show and asking him (pre Bond) if he would ever paly Bond. (He said he hoped to.) I was pulled off the midway to be an extra in the New Mickey Mouse Club. And, I loved the Animation Tour and am still sorry it isn't there...more for my children at this point than me.
