CMs get paid?? You're kidding me, they should consider it an honor to be allowed to attend the parks for free. Isn't that the management attitude? If management gave up their raises and bonuses for one year, how much would that effect the parks? (I'm being serious about that last sentence/question.)

    Ya think? ;-)

Seriously, when I hear the lunacy argument that parks don't make anything (let alone very healthy profits most years), I feel like I'm having a discussion on whether the world is flat (which BTW FOX News is reporting as a theory, while leaving it up to viewers to decide on their own!)

The two biggest reasons why TWDC is a multi-billion corporate media giant are animation and theme parks, but some times you'd never know it to read fan forums!

I always thought the same thing. To me it seemed like when pixar came out that Disney just kind of gave up. They kept releasing sequels that they knew were weak b/c they didn't even go to theaters but straight to video. For a while there you could buy any Disney video and you knew it was a quality story. But after buying 2 or 3 of those straight to video items we started being more selective in what we purchased which really resulted in us renting rather than buying. And we were much less likely to buy a video after we had already rented it, so I wasn't surprised to see that video purchases started to decline. Honestly most consumers don't care what type of animation is used as long as it is a quality story. Yes pixar's animation was great but those stories could have been hand drawn and they would have been just as good.

Nah. Not gonna happen. I spend too much time (of course I have too much time thanks to the depression!) on Disney sites as is.

I don't need another group of pixie dust snorting fanbois.

Let Disney Social Media own that place!

I'll go over this more in my topic about my most recent trip, but DAK just became full park after I bought the Imagineer's guide to AK. I never realized how awesome it really is.

I don't doubt that both of these parks need plussing. DAK is in serious need of more attractions (for the love of god, Disney PLEASE replace C M/M.) I've been hearing things about DAK, though not all Disney Fans might be happy about it...

And, as someone who wants to be an Imagineer, I have often thought about how to improve Hollywood Studios, and I have come up with some ideas, if anyone is interested...

(For the record, I did choose a third day at MK over a second day at DHS, mainly because of my strange obssesion this trip with Country Bears...)

This really deserves a more pithy Spirited comeback and I'm fresh out ... so can I have a raincheck and come back with one later?

I had seen the site on a search for Disney rumors. I tried the search the next day, and the site was gone. Maybe, I'm just ignorant about search engines but it seemed pretty odd.
