Delay should get the hell away from any microphone and camera for his own good unless he wants to keep embarrasing himself. An absolute creep of a man and worse as a "trusted" public official. Go join Duke Cunningham in the chow line, big shot.

It figures that you and others can't see past your partisanship here. I'd be this way no matter who resigned under a cloud, an indictment, whatever. Get those bastids out of office, whether it's Delay, Boxer, Hastert, McCain or Harkin. A crook is a crook. Myself and others take particular glee in the downfall of Delay because he was such an arrogant little pissant who flouted his position more than any other majority leader in recent memory. He was the biggest bully in a town full of them, and as I said before, he ended up being betrayed by his own ego. A little humility goes a long way, and Delay wouldn't know it if it hit him like a freight train. Good riddance to a huge loser.

Originally Posted By DouglasDubh <Dalliances outside of wedlock are a different matter than selling votes for perks and funneling campaign contributions into money laundering schemes.> If dalliances outside of wedlock were all President Clinton was guilty of, then your comment would have a point. But President Clinton was found in contempt of court for misrepresenting the facts. And since Rep Delay is being considered guilty because of his associatiates, let's remember that many of President Clinton's associates were found guilty of felonies.
