I think Joe Scarborough, one of the few Republicans left that I have any respect for, said it about Glenn Beck as well: "I have a lot of family members that listen to him and watch him and are frightened by the things that he says every night with his chalkboard...my mom and a lot of other people like her that watch him every day start to believe if they hear every day, every day, that there's this guy in Washington D.C., this black guy that hates all white people and he wants to take your money . . . and he wants to destroy the country you grew up in. You feed that vile message to Americans every day, it's going to have an impact."

I know what the Tide Foundation is, and where it's located. I drive past their building in the Presidio every time I visit the Walt Disney Family Museum. Hearing about Byron Williams capture on the local news was chilling. This nut was armed to the teeth, ready to take out dozens of workers at both Tides Foundation and the local ACLU office. And where did Williams personally admit he got the idea from, that the Tides Foundation was trying to destroy democracy in our country and needed to be stopped? Glenn Beck. Beck not only targeted the Tides Foundation in his ranting, but he also mocked my Representative, Nancy Pelosi, many times. He even pretended to "poison" her with tainted wine in a stupid skit on his show. I don't find humor like that funny at all, no matter what the political affiliation.

He consistently has said that our way of life (nevermind that there is no one way of life in this country) is under attack. That is going to get people riled up too. You don't have to mention guns to use violent rhetoric.

They weren't thretening him and he shot first with a concealed weapon (no permit). He knew he would have gone to jail, but he didn't care.
