Not when I see continuous comments here like: Anyone but Bush, anyone but Arnold, anyone who is not a Republican....we can't do any worse etc it appears the best candidate is the least evil, except when it doesn;t fit ones agenda, then it's a bad thing -

I guess those people think Allen is a better candidate because he doesn't conjure up depraved images and write them down.

Jennifer Allen's 2000 autobiographical account told of growing up in a rough-and-tumble household headed by the late George H. Allen, the football-obsessed, workaholic Hall of Fame coach of the NFL's Washington Redskins and Los Angeles Rams. In her book, she portrayed the future senator, the oldest of her three brothers, as a sometimes crude and brutish high school student who once dragged her up the stairs of their California home by her hair." So let's see... Allen attacks Webb by bringing up what he wrote in pieces of fiction. Webb attacks Allen by bringing up what he did in high school. I don't think either of these guys is going to get Gloria Steinem's endorsement, but come on. Are there no actual issues in this race?

And it's fair to guess that webb's campaign knew about the sister's biography and it's claims all along, but had the sense and taste to not exploit it as a cheap shot. That is until allen came out with his attack on webb's writings.
