Well of course. Doesn't everyone love overly-salted ham?

You can keep your naive outlook on life for as long as you wish, but take it from an Outdoor Vending cast member who has done this that they come in a frozen box of 24 and are therefore not fresh.<<

I like you. I really like you. But can I believe that you are telling me the truth about this? I mean, should I place absolute trust in the word of a granulated-sugar-addled devotee of a food that is admittedly "not fresh?"

Until I have personally seen the inside of every single building backstage, I will have serious doubts about your assertion.

Turkey legs: The snack the Taliban hates, too.

Whether or not you choose to believe an Outdoor Vending cast member who has done this before is up to you. I really am past caring.

But let's get real here...no one claims that churros are a health food. No one can make a credible claim that the popcorn served at Disneyland is a health food (it's all carb and fat). The high sodium content of the turkey legs precludes them from being a health food.

What is a good healthy food at Disneyland? The Cobb Salad at Plaza Inn. Turkey, bacon, tomatoes and chopped boiled eggs over a bed of greens. Now that is much healthier and anyone on Atkins will tell you that it's DELISH!

Still, for snacking, Churros all the way, baby!

    Oh, one more little detail...

Actually, popcorn is made from corn, os it's a vegetable! heheh

And, as one of the ladies in my Weight Watchers meeting pointed out last week - when she goes out for drinks, she had a bloody mary since it counts as a vegetable! LOL

cm--Please note my assertion that Turkey legs provide roughage WHEN THE WAX PAPER FUSES TO THE CARTILAGE. Important distinction there, and one I am sure you can appreciate.

And we do agree--no snack should "be" healthy. (Or "healthful," to use the absolutely grammatically correct term. But I think vernacular works much better in discussing snacks, don't you?) The introduction of Cobb Salad (mmmmm) into this discussion merely clouds the issue at hand. Everyone knows Cobb Salad is clearly not a snack.

And thanks for letting me know who's who in Churro land. It's hard to keep the sugar-addled players straight without a score card.

But I digress. I do like you. But again, I do not feel I can trust you. For example, in post #36 (and others) you hotly claimed that Turkey Legs (mmmmmmm) are sold in frozen packages of 24. Now on post #46 you say they are sold in packages of 20.

Either all that granulated sugar has affected your short term memory (it could happen), or you are simply making up base slanders.

I have been listening carefully as the DLRR passes between the Rivers of America and the pony farm. I swear I can hear Turkeys screaming.

I was mistaken with my original number. I have talked to a fellow vendor who confirmed it is, indeed, 20.

I really do not see your point in any of this.

Well your the supposed "interim" leader. Although you never did specify how long this "interim" would be. However, the responsibilty of the content in a thread I think is in its creator. You can't of course control reactions but I do think one can always moderate.
