You mean fifteen minutes doesn't work with those people, as it does with everyone else? Hmm...maybe there IS something to those churros, after all.

Turkey Legs: Try it, you'll like it.

In your zeal to promulgate the faith, is it possible you have lost sight of your "first love?" Think. Think back to happier, simpler days. Days when there were only 3500 ODV carts peddling snacks in the Happiest Place in Earth. (As opposed to the present 2.5 million.) Perhaps there is more to your sugar addled desire for fried dough and granulated sugar that cannot be addressed by an unwieldy bureaucracy. Perhaps the churro is something transcendent! Could it be that churro devotion is actually part of something so great, so grand, that no earthly body can control it! Could the churro have loosed the bonds of snack-consciousness, as we understand it? Could it be that the churro is, in itself, A MIGHTY FORCE THAT CANNOT BE CONTAINED???

    NAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

    It's just a snack.

    Turkey Legs: You'll be surprised.

Your Eminence, I am sorry I can't make it down to the Resort this weekend. :( Please give me a call (you DO have my home phone, right) at your earliest convenience. There are issues that are rather...interesting that we need to discuss.<<

Anyone else getting as creeped out as I am with all this? Is it just me, or is this very reminiscent of that point in the Christmas pageant when Herod leans forward in his throne and says to the Three Wise Men, "Go and FIND this KING, that I may...WORSHIP...him also..."

At the very least, try reading the post with the manner and inflection of Mr. Burns.

    Creepy...or not?*

Some of what we talk about it about Churroia...he *is* my Cardinal, after all, but we also talk about life and stuff.

I am of the opinion that the 'government' set up is fine...I think there are other issues that exist that need to be dealt with.

Enjoy life! Have a Turkey Leg (mmmmmmmm).

And just when do we vote on these Snackie Award things, anyway?

DlandDug, how long have you been on LP? The actual history of Churroia is rather interesting...how it started and evolved to where it is today. It is much more than devotion to a single snack.

I agree. Interesting in the same sense that turning over a large, flat rock is interesting.

Oh yes indeed. It is also:
--fealty to a Church AND Empire...
    --ruthless suppression of dissent...
    --cruel jibes at rival snacks...
--endless deception of UN Weapons Inspectors (Oops. Wrong regime. My bad.)...
--and humorless responses to wacky Snackie Award campaigns.

    So...when do we vote?
