He was ranting about them. How they are all taking over security of the country and so on. He didn't understand that what he was saying was not sane. There is no talking to someone like this, because they are not mentally capable. I even tried. I tried to explain it was hate speech. It wasn't understood. It just caused even more treks into crazyville and further rationalizations and examples of "evidence" that were really not sane. These things happen to people. And all the talk and logical ideas put forward to them does not do a bit of good. And making fun of them does not do a bit of good either. They are sick people. The online world is a bit different than the real world, in that in the real world, when you see a ranting person in the street, you know to avoid them. Online, without the visual, you don't quite as easily know to stay away. But as in the real world, the thing to do with these sorts of people is to do that very thing. Stay away. It is of no use to anyone to antagonize them or to try and talk to them because they literally can not understand. They are broken in the head. Yelling at them does not help. Calling them names does not help. It only serves to upset you, and does nothing for them. The best thing to do is to simply ignore them, and hope they go away, one way or another.

He used to go on about how it was Republicans all being satanists. now, it's about how lesbians are all Republicans and taking over the world. And I can't begin to tell you how many things are wrong with that. But nothing gets through. I won't mention the person's name...but you might be able to figure out who was here who ranted about republicans being evil traitors. It's just now that he's added lesbians to the mix.
