I am also intrigued that I can find ZERO discussion of this on Micechat either! Are they just instantly deleting any mention of Al in the forums?

True that, it's super annoying sometimes.

He also had a lot more information than about other projects, which should have been a hint.

Given how political things at WDI can be, I really can't see how this would have helped Tony's standing any. Wasn't he already on a short leash anyway post-TL98?

That is very good to know!

Writing styles or personalities don't bother me much, at least from free online sources of juicy gossip. If it weren't for the likes of Jim Hill and Al Lutz there's a whole lot of backstory we wouldn't know about, and a whole lot of new rumors we'd never know. The sources Al Lutz has seem to be noticeably more reliable than Jim Hill, or at least Lutz's sources offer info on projects that actually happen more often, but they both have their place.

And again, it's free. Don't like the style? Don't read 'em. You don't even have to call a subscription office to cancel.

When I see an article and it shows "Mary Jo Vanilla-Smith" replete with her name badge and hard hat, onsite with wire frame and construction cranes behind her and it says "Imagineer VP in Charge" or somesuch other haughty-sounding title I think to myself, "Who the hell is THAT?!?!? Imagineers are called Bob Gurr, Marc Davis, Joe Rohde or Tony Baxter".

It's kinda like when I see a policeman and they look like my sixteen year old nephew.

I am like, "Shouldn't you be trading Pokémon cards or something?!?"
