I'd be thrilled to see Disney do a western if it meant a chance for the Western River Expedition to finally be built!!

    (Like that will ever happen!!)

No, I haven't. I've heard both good and bad reviews of the ride, though. However, my point was that IF the new 20K movie takes off and is a hit, I could see Disney trying to capitalize on it with a new attraction at WDW and other locations. However, I seriously doubt that they would go with the old style submarine ride that they once had due to expense to build and maintain, as well as trying to comply with the new ADA laws for the disabled. It just isn't feasible to bring back the old version. However, I could see them utilize the newer version in use at TDS. I guess what I was trying to say was that, for better or for worse, they would most likely build the TDS version long before they would ever consider re-building the old style submarine ride. Of course they could always go some other route for a 20K attraction instead (i.e. the DLP walk-thru attraction) including something completely new and different.
