We did try Le Cellier for the first time that trip (for lunch - didn't want to blow two dining credits for dinner) and the food was out of this world. Our sever was also fantastic - her name was Jill. It was definitely worth getting up at before the crack of dawn to make the reservation. I made our reservations for February and they include: Tony's Town Square Le Cellier (woohoo!) Grand Floridian Cafe (1st time) Liberty Tree Tavern (one my faves) The Plaza Whispering Canyon Cafe (1st time) Biergarten (1st time in YEARS) Les Chefs de France I am very excited about the Biergarten - haven't been in years and I've developed an affinity for German fare since my last visit. Also excited about Whispering Canyon. I've heard a lot of good things about it, and I'm anxious to finally visit the Wilderness Lodge.

Originally Posted By elene Sunshine Seasons is far and away the best counter service meal at WDW (at least from all of the ones I've tried which is quite a few). I've been wanting to do a meal in the Magic Kingdom (besides Crystal Palace) but none of them looked all that great. Have you been to the Plaza Inn before? I almost booked that this year but decided to go with breakfast at 1900 Park Fare instead (never been there either but it seems to get good reviews). What do you get at Liberty Tavern (I can't remember if they serve more than just turkey or not). I might check those out this year to try a future visit.

Originally Posted By NikkiLOVESMickey We are big fans of the Plaza and Liberty Tree. They are both on our list of regular stops when at WDW. Every meal I've had at the Plaza has been excellent. It's basic fare, but they do it very well. Liberty Tree is also a fave for dinner (especially since it's now character-free). The salad with strawberry vinaigrette dressing is so yummy. I could eat the and be completely satisfied. Everything the serve is really good: roast, ham, turkey, dressing, mac and cheese and a veggie (usually green beans) and dessert. I look forward to visiting every trip.

Sorry to hear about the bad experience as since remodeling it had been getting pretty good reviews although I have not been there in quite a few years. As for Biergarten-- always good-- glad to have another German food fan

One of the best things about Nine Dragons is that you can always get a table there. We have eaten at the new pizza place in Italy and both times had great meals. A friend recently told me that they have eaten at the new Mexican restaurant and while a little pricey said that that food was fantastic.

I just found it to be flavorless.

When I order it from local Chinese take-out places I tell them I want it spiced like they would spice it for their Chinese customers. Nine Dragons did not disappoint. The menu warned that it was hot and spicy and it was! It was delicious... some of the best I've ever had. That leaves me wondering what you had that was so bland. The Kung Pao Chicken was sweat on your forehead, makes your nose run SPICY. It was GLORIOUS! Of course when I ordered it the waiter repeated the warning on the menu, and I told him hot and spicy was exactly the way I liked it. Maybe they “kicked it up a notch” for me. BAM! LOL

Dry and tasteless, it was a very unsatisfying meal… especially when I paid over $30 for a freaking pork chop! I don't know if it was just an off night, or was an example of some places feeling all pork needs to be extremely "well done". Although I wouldn't want to eat pork rare, medium is perfectly safe.
