They could do a car thing with a limo theme to it .. and run around Hollywood of the 30s ... racing around to see all the starlets of the time .. even Clark Gable, and Gene Harlow .. in a uniquely designed AA of sorts with bobbing heads .......... OH ) ....... wait a minute! Never mind. :j

Interesting thing is that lots of guests have somehow found the small walkway between the building and the vineyard and are admiring the pictures. There does seem to be some interest in what might be inside the building.

Ah, it's always a good day when concept art is released! " remember that as days go by artwork changes. The land has been getting more and more detailed. Just look at the diference between the original art and models and the artwork up now and see how diferent the netrances to the land are.

It will be interesting to see how the additional traffic (and presumably wider walkway) will affect the atmosphere of the FFF area. I kind of like how it's out of the way and feel so secluded, and I really hope that isn't lost when they add more people. I also hope that they are able to continue the illusion of being small, since it doesn't appear that there will be any transitions on the other two entrances, like the cereal box that's there now. I think it's kind of funny how Tuck and Roll's Gently-Nudge-Em Buggies will be on the other side of the path from the rest of the attractions. I wonder how that will change (for better or worse) the number of people that ride it... " careful with taking the stylized map of the park to literal. There are lots of liberties the artist took when drawing that map

Originally Posted By FerretAfros It looks like the entrance to the Cars area will have all the houses and stuff from Radiator Springs in the movie. There are more pictures up on MiceChat, and one of them is a quite detailed overview of the entire land. It has all 3 attractions along with a bunch of the different homes. It also looks like they may be redoing the wall with the posters on it over by the entrance to Screamin'. On the map it shows a hill with a couple palm trees, so maybe we can get something there that's a little more interesting than the fence blocking the view of the Screamin' loading area. It also doesn't show the loading area at all, so they may have just put that in to cover up that space.

I'm really excited to see what the entire Pier area will look like when it's finished. Hopefully the ferris wheel will still get the boardwalk around it, since it adds a lot to the otherwise very dull structure (and it sort of makes the legs less noticable when there are other things nearby. Anybody else think they might be planning to use it for reserved seating for the World of Color show? I know they are intentionally blocking the views from that side of the Pier, but it just seems that they are going out of their way to make a very private area there for it.

Lizzie's is next to that-- we will assume it is a souvenir stand. To the right are Fillmore and Sarge's I am not sure what they will be-- probably merchandise locations. Next to them is Flo's V8 Cafe. To the left and across the intersection is Luigi's Flying Tires (or whatever name they are using). This is the "Flying Saucer" attraction , and is still in the mix. Across the street from that is Ramon's. No sign of Doc Hudson's place, as far as I can see. At the end of the street is Radiator Springs Racers. Hope this is helpful.
Originally Posted By ArchtMig DlandDug, you say Mater's Junkyard Jamboree is to the immediate "right" as you enter Cars Land? From which point of entry? From the artists' depictions, there appears to be a "main drag" that runs up the middle, and Mater's looks like it is on the left as you enter that. But there also appears to be a secondary pathway that skirts up behind Maters and behind the traffic cone teepees, and if that is the path that one is on, then yes, Mater's would be on the right. I just don't know if you'd be able to access the attraction from that side or not. It does appear that the main drag through the middle is the primary way into the land.

Looks like there's just the main drag into the land, which I guess is what they are calling "Route 66"? Plus the back entrance pathway coming from the TOT area, of course. Plus another pathway leading out of Cars Land to the south which doesn't seem to lead to anything. The road to nowhere, perhaps? Maybe that's a pathway to future park expansion into the Timon lot? If this more specific rendering is more accurate, and a better predictor of what Cars Land will eventually be, then I must say, it looks really, really cool. And massively huge, too. I find it hard to believe that the Route 66 roadway would be as long as it appears, judging by the scale of the tiny tiny people walking it, from the entry near Pacific Wharf, allllllll the way back to the building at the end, and Radiator Springs Racers beyond that. I didn't think that the Timon lot had that much space. Is Cars Land backing up all the way to Harbor Blvd.?

But then I noted that the start of Route 66 is all the way out to the Entertainment Corridor (I hope they fix that name while they're at it!). The Pacific Wharf will actually be parallel and slightly hidden by Route 66. And Mater's appears to occupy the last remnants of the Golden State's farm area.
