-Agreed. I wish that Hollywood Studios would step forth and take a strong direction "somewhere," instead of being a real mismatch of theme's and things. That's gonna be some work. DCA may be characterized, but atleast their is direction and vision for where the park is heading. I don't feel that way for Hollywood Studios. Once my favorite place to visit at WDW, now my least favorite. It feels lost and a bit tired. Have'nt been for about 2years almost but I don't think it's changed except for TSM.

This theme died a long time ago."

-Well, I would hope it does'nt die completely. I think California specific attractions, alongside putting Mickey Mouse on the Sunwheel and Mermaid near the lagoon would fit just fine. If the Red Car trolley and Buena Vista St. are any indication, I think they'll keep SOME thing prodominately California.

Carsland - don't quite get how that fits but OK

Actually, in a cost saving move, they are just going to move the Jolly Trolley over from Toontown to new tracks at DCA's Buena Vista Street. Heck, they never use it anymore at Toontown, it's just in the way of the crowds... might as well just bring it over to DCA and save the cost of design and engineering of a whole new set of trolleys. Kill two birds with one shot. There's your tie-in to the out of place, out of theme front gate entrance structure ripped off from DHS. Just stick something behind it that's totally out of place and the two things provide a discordant synergy.

It will keep the fractured, unplanned, mixed up feeling of DCA pure and undamaged. ;-)

So we take it over to DCA where there are never any crowds, right! : )
