There have been so many of these "inappropriate" and "unnecessary" changes lately that I think fans are just getting more and more vocal with each one. No one wants to see the theme parks become museums, but if you're going to make changes to the classics, you should at least do it in a way that respects the original ride. Throwing characters into Small World, or splashing tombstones into The Haunted Mansion queue, or Pirates onto TSI really isn't what I would call being respectful of the original designs.

POTC is currently a Jack Sparrow hide and seek, rather than your personal adventure with a bunch of pirates.

Sure, it's been peppered in with that sort of story, but for the most part, it's still the same ride. You only are alerted to Jack being amok in two places.

Is it really necessary for people to constantly point out that we're not talking about something super important here. We know that Disney World is just a vacation place, and not really all that important in the grand scheme of things. Ok. Now, can we get back to talking about how the new Mansion Queue is the most horrible travesty to ever strike planet earth? ;-)

Changing Alien Encounter into Stitch was a major mistake, but Alien Encounter was a major mistake to begin with so I didn't really care. I wish they would make some changes at the Studios. All of those attractions have been left unchanged since they opened, and a few could REALLY use updates... especially the Great Movie Ride! At least Star Tours is finally getting a badly needed update!

I'm a little disappointed they don't have Natalie Portman in a corset.

But for some stupid reason, every time his name is mentioned they call him "Captain Jack Sparrow". It just sounds so stupid, and out of character.
