I still think people are under the impression these screens were used to show live sports.

As for the "Hometown Hero" parade, that seems very "Main Street U.S.A." to me. I dunno why, it just does.

ORWEN: That's what's supposed to happen around here.

ORDDU: If you happen to be a sports fan, I think you're less bothered by having screens set up in a theme park like this. Since my sisters and I have absolutely no interest in sports, we're more inclined to see these screens as a clashing of themes.

ORWEN: Now if they wanted to put up these screens at--say a park like Epcot--it wouldn't be so distracting. Epcot is a theme park about today and the future. It's about various cultures coming together around World Show Case. So, putting up these kinds of screens THERE would be fine with us.

ORDDU: Of course we realize that Hong Kong Disneyland doesn't have it's own version of Epcot, so they went and worked with what they had.

ORWEN: Anyway, it's nothing worth starting World War III over.

ORGOCH: Glad ta know ya all feel that way 'cause I got a REAL bone ta pick with ya's that's worth startin' a war over! An' it has ta do with which one a ya two losers went an' let my FROGS out agin'!!!

I know what you mean Dave.

I was at DL the Friday, Sat and Sun before 9/11 and the flag retreat was attended by a handful of people.

I was also there, in Town Square on the Friday after 9/11 and you could not move. There must have been about eight hundred people crammed in, paying their respects. It was truly moving.
