The time of day was hard (even when I usually run at night)because the terrain wasn't really suited for a night race. The lack of excitement both with the lack of spectators, entertainment, and the pretty much non existent marked finish line (There was the clock, the chip mat and a few cut outs) and I really had zero desire to go (and didn't) to an after party until 3 am after finishing at 1 (1:30 once all the post race stuff was done)and would've preferred to have that as something to opt out of (and a lower $$$) -em

I just thought that they did not look special at all then and your picture looks even more simple. Considering that there are so many really great looking cupcakes... Even the non-limited ones look they put more effort into making them. And congratulations on the second half-marathon!! Those three medals are very impressive, but I think the DL one is the nicest one.

It's also a bummer that one (or more) of the projectors wasn't working for the castle show. I'm kind of surprised that they continued the show like that, since it looks like it was a fairly significant chunk of the 'screen' missing. Was it like that the entire show, or just the holiday part?
