Rascism is a terrible thing - I saw it tear apart neighborhoods and schools and families in the 60's -- the world have moved forward since then, but admittedly not fast enough nor far enough. I knew many people in gangs ( not wannabe's , real gang members) - as in my neighborhood that was a way of life. I work with kids today ( some of whom are active gang members) in the same area I grew up in to try and help them escape from the influences around them. It is an ongoing battle, but until we are able to change opinions and opportunities, we will continue to be on the losing end of the situation. Which is why I just love it when someone tells me who and what I am....

Being a smart mouth is not the course of action I would recommend. But this came after being approach several times for doing what people do at the mall. The sheriffs department says they were initially approached for loitering, then the 4 failed to cooperate with the request to leave. I can see where anyone who hasn't done anything wrong may take exception to being made to leave. I just call it as I see it. I think this loitering policy is a bad policy that opens a can of worms they can avoid. Clearly defined nondiscriminatory policy based on age and parentel supervision are surefire ways to to avoid the race card. Public areas of private property are tricky situations. Often times it isn't what you legally can do as much as what you should do. That goes for both sides.

Unless the lawyer father of the one teen decides to persue a discriminatory charge, there will be no need for Disney to settle anything.
