So at some point, you have to face the reality of this corporate structure, the bureaucracy that prevents change from occurring.

Many large companies, including Disney, have created so many layers of people and departments within the corporation that it is impossible to get things done. At Disney for instance I used to be able to see something that needed a paint touch up. I would put in a request and in a couple of days a painter would show up and do the work. Now the request goes thru so many people in the process that it takes forever to get things done. It's the same at my current company. Lots of people in lots of positions with no one really having any final say in getting something done. It's maddening.
