The tent covering was added several years later, and, as far as I remember did not come from an US Festival. The stage was upgraded considerably several years ago and, if I remember correctly, they ditched the US stage at that time, which had never meant to be a permanent fixture, for something more substantial.

So they are rushing to get some kind of live show in there that becomes a big hit and keeps WDI from touching what they believe is "their" space. Can you say inter-division rift?

Think about how much money the Emporium on Main Street makes in a single night, and suddenly that figure doesn't seem so large. I would guess that the PhotoPass sales from the temporary location would more than cover its construction costs (even if relatively few people purchase the PhotoPass pictures).
