On the photo issue - hmmmm - tough one. People will be people - the things teen and college age do for personal entertainment. Part of what makes the world go around.

Just don't sell them or create a way to "black spot" or digital fuzzy the offending material out. It seems to work on YouTube.

Besides this has been going on for as long as the photo thing has been going on. They have always had a way to pull the questionable pics from the lineup. Not to give any details, but in my younger years a boyfriend of mine grabbed the front of my shirt as we went down the big drop and when we went to look for our photo it wasn't on the screen. "Dumb Dave" went to the cashier and asked about the pic. The cashier put our picture on the counter screen and there we were. Inflagrante! We were able to purchase the picture and went on our way! Disney made it money and we got our pic...

Off-topic, but Universal puts up signs asking visitors not to take pictures of the preview screens. I wonder when and if Disneyland is going to start doing that.

Universal has moved/eliminated a lot of the previewing screens to the actual selling counter, where the same employees can watch over the guests to try and prevent "rogue" photos.

Most Six Flags and Cedar Fair Photo OP's are designed the same way.

The one feature I love at Six Flags, they have a system very similar to PhotoPass, and you can get your on-ride photos added to the same card as the in-park character photos.

Alas, Disney has found to MAXIMIZE the profit, they have three types of photos. The PhotoPass in park stuff, the On-Ride photos, and then the Character Dining Photo Packages. They are all treated differently, and you can't combine them.

Last year my family and I were at DL at Christmas. We had over 40 pictures on our PhotoPass because I stopped everytime I saw one of the photographers. We bought the disc and now have a lot of pictures of our whole family, where usually I am not in many.
We even had copies made and used them for Christmas cards and sent out family pictures to people.

We also buy a picture of our family on Space Mountain every year. It's fun to see ourselves through the years and our kids grow up on Space Mountain! We ride several times, so sometimes we all pose like we're sleeping just for fun (my dd8 still doesn't get that if you are posing with you eyes closed you should NOT have your arms up!! :) ). We don't buy the "sleeping" pic, but it's always fun for a laugh!

This certainly reminds me how prudish I am. I just can't stand that .5% of the population doesn't care what impact their behavior has on others.

I now plan my Disney trips around the fact that I do not want to be at the park after eight or so on a Friday or Saturday. It seems like a great chance to experience the grown up rides. But what it has become is two or three hours of young adults - more 20somethings than actual teens - talking nonstop and loudly with lots and lots of cussing, in person and on cell phones - in every line. And sometimes in the ride. I once went through Haunted Mansion ahead of two riders who were shouting expletives back and forth between cars. Incredible.

I know I have to coexist with people with very different ideas of standards of behavior, but at Disneyland?

Most of the ones who do are either a) doing something inappropriate and offensive to others or b) are being negatively impacted by the people doing it. So why list it? Why glorify it? The Unofficial Guide doesn't list the best places to get away with smoking outside of the official areas. It doesn't give advice on sneaking liquor in. Why it gives any attention to this particular antisocial behavior is beyond me.
