Anyway the two thoughts that I put down were not related to who did the voice, it was more how some of that dialog has gone on forever.
"Whats up, Doc?" Comes to mind.

I'm a bigger fan of the Disney comic books, especially Carl Barks and Don Rosa, than of the Disney movies. I haven't seen many of the early short cartoons, too.

I would say, I'm a Disney fan who likes Mickey, but he is definitely not my favorite character. That's still Scrooge McDuck.

Like many of the previous posters, I would also be very happy to see less toons in the parks and less attractions based on toons. Besides the comic books, I also start to hate the toons in the parks.

A guy named Arthur Q. Bryan. It was in Blanc's contract that he got the only voice credit, and he did most of the most famous ones, but there were others in there, including Bryan doing Fudd. June Foray did many of the female voices (including Witch Hazel, one of my faves).

mawnck is quite right that the Mickey of the 30's is the best, especially the black and whites. Even by the mid-30's he was getting a little bland. In the early 30's he was kind of the "little guy who struggles against all odds," and was often compared to Chaplain.

Recovering from yesterday's test screening of "Mirror Mirror".

And what's all this about not being into bondage?

I knew I liked you for a reason, dave! Give me a good Bugs, Road Runner or Daffy cartoon any day!

And I had to do a bit of research about Blanc/Elmer Fudd. I didn't realize he didn't do that voice! He's one of my all time heros.

A side bit of trivia ... Believe it or not, Mae Questel, the original Olive Oyl and Betty Boop, played POPEYE in a few cartoons when Jack Mercer wasn't available, and was astoundingly good at it.

Anyways, now i dont care much for MM. My favorite is Donald, i feel we sometimes have the same temper.

I also had a really bad experience with Goofy at DL when i was 12. All i remember was he twisted my arm back and it really hurt. I have nothing against you though Goofyernmost.

I always thought Mickey was un-hate-able. Maybe not your fave...Now we see it is not so.

Mickey is someone really special. And you all know that there wouldn't be any Disney today if Walt hadn't thought of Mickey. It's like he's a cartoon character guardian angel, and whenever I see him at D-land, I just feel happy.

Minnie, although very perky and sweet, doesn't have much personality beyond. I'd love to see her as a feminist type with a career of her own, with an equal footing in her loving, respectful relationship with Mickey.

That would be platonic relationship, if you please!
