I SO DISAGREE with you on this. For myself and thousands of others, Indy is the spirit of ADVENTURE and is a perfect, if not tight, fit in Adventureland.

    >>Spider-Man should belong to some place like Six Flags<<

.....and have you been to IOA and experienced the Spiderman Adventure? Disneyland or The Magic Kingdom I would completely agree would never fit, but in DCA, DHS or DSP oh hell yes!

Adventureland? I can't think of anything.
    New Orleans Square? Nothing.
    Critter Country? Nothing.
    Frontierland? Nothing.
Fantasyland? Nothing that I'd ever want to see.
    Mickey's ToonTown? Nothing.
Tomorrowland? Perhaps a couple of things--but, again, nothing that I'd like to see.

    DCA--
Disney's Hollywoodland (isn't that the rumored new name?)? Best chance for things that "fit", but nothing would fit well with the glitzy, glamorous Hollywood that never was and always will be. Marvel Superheroes inhabit very dark worlds.
Bug's Land? Nothing is of the right scale, is it?
    Golden State? Possibly . . . .
    Paradise Pier? Nothing whatever.

    Marvelland replaces Tomorrowland

    Hulk Corner replaces Toontown

    Wolverine Den replaces Critter Country

And don't forget Spidey Boulevard, U.S.A.!

You know, they could sling up webs where the Christmas wreaths usually go. And rename the castle at the end of the street "Doctor Octopuses Enchanted Lair".

    :D

I can see the Sci-Fi City concept being reworked into something that would utilize the Marvel characters along with Star Tours, and whatever else fits.

But "WWTBEAM" turned out to be a flop. Hopefully Disney remembers that when thinking about introducing Marvel into a park.

And DtD is already filled with non-Disney locations so ESPN fits in quite nicely in my opinion. I wouldn't mind a Marvel themed store/restaurant in DtD if they wanted to do that.

No, not exactly. The prime time show ran its course and went off the air. The point I was trying to make is that there is indeed precedent for this in regard to ABC/ESPN.

"I wouldn't mind a Marvel themed store/restaurant in DtD if they wanted to do that."

That will probably be the first thing they do.

    It's already been DONE!

    <a href="http://www.thestudiotour.com/ush/attractions/food_marvelmania.shtml" target="_blank">http://www.thestudiotour.com/u...ia.shtml</a>

It lasted less than a year.

I'm hoping for Betty Boop. Maybe they can hold Spiderman hostage and get Universal to make a deal like they did with Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.
