Kind of a bummer for guests, but from a business stand point completely understandable. While we enjoy early mornings, they didn't influence our choice of staying at the DHL, we have stayed both on and offsite and enjoy staying onsite so much more we won't go if we have to stay offsite. It good there are so many options so we all can be happy.

Has Disney ever tried to stand in the Dumbo line with a toddler and try to explain "we have to wait our turn" to a child that just wants to ride Dumbo NOW! I still recall this experience 8from 8 years ago with my nephew!Trauma for me and the toddler.

This is upsetting because of the price you pay. It was a nice perk. A little something to make you happy. We can't all be celebrities at DL with all the extra freebies they get! Heaven forbid they should do anything nice for the rest of us in this land.

MM was available to us on Mon and Tues (not Wed because it was not just not running.) We would use MM both Mon and Tues. I wonder if the new ticketing will limit the number of times that you can use it? As in, only ONE MM with a 4-day hopper, as an example. That would really limit the perk.

I'd be EXTREMELY cranky if, for example, I became ill two days before a $400-per-night stay at the Grand Californian and lost those $$ - especially considering that the ONLY time we stay there is for a very special occasion (my recent 50th birthday and our honeymoon in 2004). It'll be interesting going forward as we read of these instances. I wonder how many times upper management will be called into action... and what the results will be when people DEMAND refunds.

We weren't asked to pay the one night fee or penalties as long as we re booked, which we were planning to do. The CM's were very gracious both times. I wonder if this will change too.

I'm pretty sure they were informed that was the policy, that they weren't just allowing hotel guests in on a whim ;-)
