By normalizing the concept of "ex-gay" it then opens the door for them to harangue and pester and prosthletize "current-gays" into giving up their sinful ways and signing on to whatever church or outreach they have running. And if anyone should complain about these activities, they would only have to point to this legal inclusion to say that they're a protected minority and entitled to spread their message. What makes it all especially ironic is that these are the same people who are complaining about gays using legislation and the courts to acheive equality. Yet here they are using the same avenues to further their own misguided agenda of oppressing others. Yet again, we see that the term "christian" now means anything they say it does, with zero effort made to actually conform to Jesus's teachings. And any resulting glaring hypocrisy is waved away as unimportant and irrelevant - just like always. They're answerable to nobody but their god, which is the same as nobody at all, so why should we ever expect any accountability for their actions? They don't even expect it of themselves.

The goal was to counter PFLAG by providing the media with parents who claimed to love their children – while rejecting their sexual orientation. Ironically, the group has never been lead by a person who is actually the parent of an ex-gay individual." Check that last sentence again. Looks to me like this group, founded in dishonesty, is still mired there.

I am more willing to believe that you know "still-gays" that have been haranged and ostrisized to the point they are will to lie to the world and live a life of deciet as opposed to continuing to live a gay life style. Don't be surprised when thier family blows apart, and everyone involved ends up hurt. Just ask my ex wife how it feels. During my 18 year marriage, if you would have asked me if I was gay I would have lied to you and point at my beautiful wife and children as proof I was straight. So you have friends that are members of a very anti-gay chruch who now claim they are no longer gay, I shocked.

It simply doesn't matter what you do or don't agree with because you've demonstrated a complete lack of understanding of the topic and a willingness to be deliberately obtuse in the face of irrefutable facts, favoring church dogma over reality.

I'll be an ex-caucasian in the future. I will become such at the moment I die. So, should I make sure you get an invite to my funeral?
