I believed that, because a kid at school said he rode the original version. And it was REALLY scary. Then another kid said he rode it. And it was REALLY scary. Then another kid. Then another kid. Now, this "original, scary" version was only supposed to be open a few weeks before the alleged heart attack, so even as a kid, I started thinking "what are the odds all these guys had gone on it..." Also, their descriptions of what was so scary about the original didn't exactly match.

They are hilarious.

For reference, the tidal pool in front of the Pacific Wharf in DCA is actually a well-themed holding tank for Grizzly River Run. There is no real reason to drain either of thes attraction on a regular basis, so I would be quite surprised if they did. It would just take a lot of time and energy every night and morning to get it done, and with little lasting effect.

Did you grow up in Southern California, Dabob2?

There was the kid who snuck into the park and lived in the Indian village next to Rivers Of America. I dont suppose you have heard of the feral chickens who escaped from the farm area and have been surviving on their own for all these years?

I always love when people ask me if there is a basketball court inside the Matterhorn. I always give them a look like they're insane and say "Of course not! It wouldn't fit in there! That's just silly! It's a half court." It always seems to get a chuckle out of people who are expecting it to be completely false!
