I'm ok with the two Dumbos since we know that for kids riding Dumbo isn't the same as riding a magic carpet and Disney appears to be adding to the experience with the queue, water features, etc. So why not just remove the Carpets? All the spinning dinos, elephants, rockets, and carpets are stupid no matter how you look it.

I've never seen the appeal either - I'd much rather ride the Astro Orbiter and fly high above Tomorrowland. But then, on my visit to Disneyland with my late mother a few years ago, the one thing she really wanted to do was Dumbo. And the look on her face as she was flying high was a greatly cherished memory! << I can only answer for myself, but to me it's all about the ride, and the dream of actually flying on an elephant. I still remember when I was very young, and seeing Dumbo on the Disneyland TV show. Thinking how great it was, and how badly I wanted to ride it. Back in those days, more than anything else, Disneyland was all about the Castle and Dumbo to me. The ride really does have magic, and I couldn't tell you anything about the scenery around me when I ride it. I'm totally lost in a couple of minutes of pure joy.

Instead of having Dumbo--or Gaston--why not have big, over-sized figures of us Cauldron gals flying on broomsticks in a circle? Then all you ducklings out there could choose which witch you wanted to ride with! ORGOCH: "Over-sized" is the key word ta why this wouldn't work, ya sap! Yer already over-sized 'nuff as it is! If ya was built any bigger ya'd take up all the land in sight an' that sure wouldn't be nobody's fantasy!!!
